Nooli Terms of Use
Effective date: October 25, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Anton Khalitov, a private individual based in Israel ("we", "us"), who runs Nooli: the Nooli iOS app, the website nooli-app.com and the Nooli connector for AI assistants (together, "Nooli"). By creating an account or using Nooli you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use Nooli
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
- An account is for one person. Keep access to your email and Apple ID secure: anyone who signs in with them can use your account.
- Your username must not impersonate another person or organization or be offensive. We may change or remove such a username.
- Tell us at support@nooli-app.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Price
Nooli is currently free. If we add paid features, we will tell you the price and terms before you pay. Purchases through the App Store are also subject to Apple's terms.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add to Nooli: decks, cards, images, your profile and other content ("your content").
Private content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run Nooli for you: to sync it to your devices, generate cards with AI when you ask, and let an AI assistant you connected work with it. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Published decks. When you publish a deck, to the catalog or by link, you also give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, distribute and index it, show it on the website and in previews, and include it in search, for as long as the publication exists.
You also give every person who saves your published deck a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to keep and use their copy for personal study. This license stays in force after you delete the publication or your account. Do not publish a deck if you do not agree with this.
Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you add to Nooli and publish. Many shared decks on other services allow only personal use: do not publish such decks, or images and texts taken from others, without the right holder's permission.
5. What is not allowed
Anywhere in Nooli, including your private library, you must not upload or share content that:
- is illegal, including content that sexually exploits children;
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- contains another person's personal data without their consent.
In published decks, your profile and your username you must also not post content that:
- is sexually explicit;
- promotes hatred, violence or discrimination against people or groups;
- harasses, threatens or bullies anyone;
- is spam, advertising or misleading;
- impersonates another person or organization.
You must not:
- access Nooli with bots, scrapers or other automated tools, except through official Nooli features such as the AI assistant connector;
- try to get around limits, security or moderation, or access other people's accounts or data;
- interfere with or overload Nooli;
- send false or abusive reports;
- copy, modify or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
6. Moderation and reports
- Catalog decks are reviewed by our moderators before they appear in the catalog. Decks shared by link are not reviewed in advance.
- Anyone, with or without an account, can report a published deck or a profile by writing to support@nooli-app.com or with the report button in the app, where available.
- If content breaks these terms or the law, we may remove it or refuse to publish it, limit your ability to publish, or suspend or delete your account. If we do so, we will tell you the reason, unless the law forbids it or it would endanger others. You can object by writing to support@nooli-app.com, and a person will review your objection.
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Nooli infringes your copyright, write to copyright@nooli-app.com and include:
- your name and contact details;
- a description of the work that is infringed;
- a link to the deck or profile on Nooli;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that the information in your notice is accurate and you are the right holder or are authorized to act for them.
We remove infringing content and may delete the accounts of repeat infringers.
8. AI features
- AI deck generation creates cards from your files and text with the help of an AI model. Generated cards may contain errors: check them before you study or publish them. Only upload files you have the right to use.
- The AI assistant connector lets an assistant you choose (for example Claude or ChatGPT) read and change your library at your request. Your use of that assistant is governed by its provider's terms. Changes the assistant makes in Nooli on your request are treated as your own actions.
9. Our rights
The Nooli app, website, name, logo and design belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Nooli for your own study under these terms. Content of other users belongs to them.
10. Changes to Nooli and ending use
- We may change, add or remove features. If we decide to shut Nooli down, we will try to tell you in advance.
- You can stop using Nooli and delete your account at any time by writing to support@nooli-app.com.
- We may suspend or delete your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, as described in section 6.
11. No warranty
Nooli is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it working and your data safe, but we do not promise that Nooli will be uninterrupted or error-free, that content from other users or AI is accurate, or that you will reach particular learning results. Keep your own copies of content that is important to you.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim related to Nooli is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
13. App Store
If you downloaded Nooli from the App Store:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Nooli and its content, maintenance and support.
- Apple has no warranty obligation for Nooli. If Nooli fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims relating to Nooli, including product liability claims, claims that Nooli fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and claims that Nooli infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must also follow the App Store's Usage Rules and the terms of any third-party services you use with Nooli.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Before going to court, please write to support@nooli-app.com: most issues can be solved quickly.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using Nooli and delete your account.
